Nowadays, the incresing speed of the train leads to
a greater influence of some dynamic phenomena and, therefore,
the control of the catenary-pantograph contact force gains more
interest in order to increase the performance of current collection.
The pantograph is used to carry out the current collection for
the trains by means of the contact between this device and the
overhead catenary line. The value of the force of this contact and
its evolution along the railway is essential for a proper performance
of the system because a loss of the contact will lead to arcing and
electrically wear while too high forces will cause mechanical wear
of both the catenary wires and the strips of the pantograph.
In this paper, some configurations of PID-controller located at
the frame of the pantograph are proposed. This PID-controller
aims to minimize the variance of the contact force and the
consumption of the energy supplied by the control force. Different
configurations of the active control are determined according to
this multicriteria optimization proposal using genetic algorithms. Autor: Cristina Sanchez-Rebollo Lugar: Aula de Seminarios Persona de contacto: Cristina Sanchez-Rebollo Añadir a agenda electrónica:
