Description: The purpose of this project is to develop and improve the decision support tools available to analyze and design the strategies and tactics for bidding in the short, medium and long term. These decision support tools should enable companies to take advantage of generation characteristics over their competitors. These tasks have been scheduled according to the time scale of the corresponding functions:
1. Long term: models devoted to firm economic planning with annual or hyperannual scope
2. Medium term: models devoted to electric system management with emphasis on hydrothermal coordination
3. Short term: models that prepare generation bids for the day-ahead market
