||The project CENIT-DENISE is a project financed by CDTI developed by a consortium of firms and research centers whose objective is the research of the future electricity networks that will enable an intelligent, secure and efficient production and distribution of electricity. The consortium is headed by Endesa Servicios.
The activities around IEC 61850 within DENISE corresponds with subtasks 3.1 and 3.3 integrated in task 3 «Intelligent networks» coordinated by Eliop. Among the participants of the consortium several research Centers (AICIA and IIT of Comillas University) are participating in the task.
The project will study the application of IEC 61850 to power distribution networks, the development of 61850 controllers and configuration software.
