Title: Report about the failure of the MAMUT-1 gear drive specimen

Description: The aim of the project is the elaboration of a study explaining the most probable failure modes corresponding to the gears which are parts of the transmission system called 'MAMUT-1'. This pair of gears is formed by a helical pinion and the corresponding rack: both of them are to be studied in order to analize the primary failure modes causing the quick degradation process observed in the parts.
